Pretape is the research and trading terminal for PreStocks pre-IPO tokens on Solana: Anthropic, OpenAI, Anduril, Neuralink, Kalshi, Polymarket and Figure AI.
The problem
PreStocks makes it possible to buy exposure to private companies on Solana, but the information around those companies is scattered. Funding rounds, valuation reports and company news live in dozens of places. A trader looking at a token price has no quick way to answer: is this cheap or expensive, why did it move, and what was the last round valued at? I trade PreStocks myself and built this into my own agent workflow first. Pretape is that workflow turned into a product.
What it does
Fair value range. For each token, Pretape collects valuation anchors from public sources: the last primary round, tender offers, reported secondary prices, reported valuation talks and the PreStocks mark. Each one is converted to a price per token using the share count implied by PreStocks' public data, so you see at a glance where the token trades against what the company is worth in private markets. A range is only shown when there are enough references to make it meaningful.
The why behind every move. AI research agents cover every company every 3 hours, with a full pass on deals, anchors and risks once a day. Each story is tagged bullish, bearish or neutral for the company's valuation, and stories that move two companies (a rival's model launch, a lawsuit against both prediction markets) are tagged for each one. News markers sit on the price chart so moves and causes line up, and price-moving stories are posted automatically to X (@Pretapexyz).
Today's read. A one-line view of each company, built to be stable: it only flips when a new story backs the change.
Native trading. Log in with email or Google, get an embedded Solana wallet, deposit USDC and buy or sell from any company page or straight from a news story. Network fees and account rent are sponsored, so users never need SOL.
How it works
Data: PreStocks public API, Jupiter price and quote APIs, GeckoTerminal candles, Solana RPC.
Research agents: Claude-based agents with web search return structured JSON (news, deals, anchors, risks). A deterministic QA gate drops items without a valid date, with dead links or from low-quality sources before anything is published.
Math in code, not in the model: share counts, per-token prices, the reference range and the verdict are computed deterministically. The model never produces a number that is shown as a price.
Trading: Privy embedded wallets with a server-side session signer. Orders route through Jupiter and settle in a single transaction with sponsored gas.
