How It Works
Community proposes. Community votes. Sponsors fund. Builders ship. Winners get paid.
Propose a Theme
Anyone can propose a hackathon theme. Describe what you want builders to create and why it matters to Solana. Your proposal goes to review, then opens for community voting.
Community Votes
No wallet required — just click to vote. When a theme hits the vote threshold, it graduates into a hackathon seeking sponsor funding.
Sponsors Fund Bounties
Approved sponsors create bounty tracks — each one a separate prize that builders compete for. USDC is deposited into on-chain escrow. Transparent and trustless.
Funding Goal Hit
When total deposited bounties reach ~$50k, an admin launches the hackathon. Only one hackathon can be live at a time — creating focus and urgency for the entire community.
Build for 2 Weeks
Register, form a team, and start building. You have 14 days from launch to submission deadline. Ship fast, ship bold.
Submit Your Project
Submit your project before the deadline, add supporting links when available, and pick up to 3 sponsor tracks to compete for. Projects are private until after judging.
Judging
Two judging tracks run simultaneously. Main track judges (selected by Solana Foundation) review all submissions. Sponsor judges review only submissions competing for their bounty.

Winners Get Paid
Main-track winners are contacted by Solana Foundation for prize payout. Sponsor bounty rewards are sent from the on-chain escrow flow to the winning wallet.
Projects Go Public
After judging, builders can make their projects publicly visible. Winners are always displayed. The Solana ecosystem grows with every hackathon.
